Manager Bio: Jake - Wichita Storm

Here is a bio from our new manager Jake.

My name is Jake and I am glad to become part of the BYOF League. I am married with my wife Regina of 4 years and have 2 teenagers. I reside in Wichita, KS after I retired from the Army after 21 years.

I have been involved with fantasy sports now for about 22 years. I originally got involved with the Scoresheet Baseball and Armchair Sports back in the day. I ventured into the Sim Leagues about 4 years ago in 2 leagues with a great group of guys from ADML.

This has been a testing knowledge of how the game works over the past few years after seeing the BYOF website and league I decided to join. I commend the commish on the great website and upkeep that he does. Best of all, I work with the government and I can still access the site...lol

I hope that by taking over the team I can build it up to hopefully contend in the near future. I am loooking forward to the different league setup and the farm system and it looks like I have more homework to do than I thought.

Again, Thanks for the invitation to join the league and with a little bit of work I think we can turn this team around. Hope to do dealings with you all in the future. Have a good 2009 season of year one of the Wichita Storm under the management of Jake Drake.
